Weldon Student Whitney Bullock Awarded ASBMR Poster Prize

Whitney Bullock was awarded a President's Poster Competition Award at the 2012 American Society for Bone and Mineral Research Annual Meeting held in Minneapolis, MN, October 12-15, 2012.

Her poster entitled: Gene Expression in Corticocancellous Tissue is Altered Following Cyclic Tibial Loading in Adult Female Mice represents work she has conducted as a part of the first phase of her doctoral thesis research examining the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying the skeleton's mechanobiological response to mechanical stimuli. Her thesis advisor is Professor Russell Main.
