Matthew McDermott, a graduate student working with Professor Kevin Otto, received a Committee for the Education of Teaching Assistants (CETA) Excellence in Teaching Award. Biomedical Engineering only selected one recipient for this award.

Xuanhao Sun, who worked with Professors Ozan Akkus and Young Kim, received a Graduate Teacher Certificate from CETA.
