Book of Great Teachers

The Book of Great Teachers, a permanent display in the west foyer of the Purdue Memorial Union, is an extension of Academy Park. The book bears the names of faculty members, past and present, who have devoted their lives to excellence in teaching and scholarship. They were chosen by their students and their peers as Purdue's finest educators. 

Charles B. Murphy Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching

The Charles B. Murphy Award, Purdue's highest undergraduate teaching honor, recognizes up to five recipients (nominated through individual colleges) each year as models in excellent undergraduate education.

Dean A.A. Potter Award for Undergraduate Teaching

The Dean A.A. Potter Award for Undergraduate Teaching honors associate and full professors, including associate and full professors of engineering practice, for outstanding teaching performance in all phases of the College of Engineering's undergraduate instruction.

Dean H.T. Yang Leadership in Service Award

The Dean H.T. Yang Leadership in Service Award recognizes excellence in faculty leadership through internal service that has a significant positive impact within Purdue Engineering.

Faculty Excellence Awards

The College of Engineering presents these awards to recognize excellence across multiple categories.

Morill Award

The Morrill Award is the highest honor that Purdue confers onto a member of its faculty.  It is intended for faculty at the rank of full professor who most strongly exemplifies the spirit of the land grant university. 

University Faculty Scholars

The University Faculty Scholars Program is intended to recognize outstanding mid-career faculty who are on an accelerated path for academic distinction.
