Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I chose AAE because of the limitless nature of the field. It involves so many complex problems that challenge you no matter how far you go.
Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
The AAE Colloquium Series where Dr. Brian Argrow gave a seminar on unmanned surveillance inside of supercells.
Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
Outside of AAE, I've loved being a part of greek life. The people and opportunities it gives you is something that's hard to find anywhere else.
Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
I wanted to become an AAE Ambassador for the chance to spread my passion for this program. I have been a private tutor for 7+ years, so being a resource to younger students is not new to me and is something I really enjoy. Becoming an AAE Ambassador gives me the opportunity to do this on a much larger scale.

Co-Rec
Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
I am most excited for my current AAE 439 (Rocket Propulsion) course. Specifically, I'm looking forward to the final project where we get to build a rocket ourselves and watch it take off.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
Your peers and professors are your best friends. People are almost always willing to help you if you have problems or even if you are looking for opportunities.
Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
In the aerospace field, I have admired Ben Rich (the former head of Lockheed's Skunkworks Division). His story in his book "Skunkworks" are always an inspiration to me.
What motivates you to succeed?
I'm motivated by the growth and improvement for both myself and those around me.
What is your ultimate career goal?
For me, the ultimate goal is to lead a R&D effort in nuclear fusion rocket propulsion.
What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
Outside of school, I like to play piano and guitar. I also enjoy staying active with boxing.
