Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I  chose Aeronautics and Astronautics because I wanted a world-class engineering education. I was inspired by the legacy of Neil Armstrong, Amelia Earhart, and countless other aerospace professionals this program has produced, and I want to follow in their footsteps to make my own impact.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
Purdue Space Program - High Altitude. We launched Purdue's first successful two-stage rocket!

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
The Ninety-Nines, an international organization of women pilots founded by Amelia Earhart.

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
I've had so many great experiences made possible by Purdue AAE, and I want to pay it forward. College decisions can be daunting, so I want to make sure anyone who's on the fence about Purdue AAE knows what this place has to offer.

Favorite place on campus?
The Purdue airport

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
Fluid Mechanics (AAE 333) because it's foundational to aerodynamics. I love the challenge and really enjoy learning about fluid behavior.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
Don't give up! AAE is hard work, but it's 100% worth it. That "Purdue grit" is what sets us apart.

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
I was lucky enough to be mentored last year by NASA Astronaut Dr. Anna Fisher, part of the first class of women astronauts and the first mother in space. She truly embodies grit, intelligence, adaptability, and tenacity through her work as a doctor, astronaut, and STEM advocate. She accomplished things no one had done before, showing that anything is possible if you dream big and work hard.

What motivates you to succeed?
I want to do justice to all of the opportunities I've been given, and make my parents proud.

What is your ultimate career goal?
I want to be a flight test engineer for next-generation military aircraft and ultimately become an astronaut.

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
I love aerobatic flying, salsa & swing dancing, and reading outdoors.

Favorite Fun Fact about Purdue?
Purdue used to have its own airline!
