Why did you choose Aeronautics and Astronautics?
I chose the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics because I have always been fascinated by planes and spaceflight. I wanted to contribute to the future of aviation.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in within AAE?
The Purdue Space Program was a great way for me to gain real technical experience in an organization at Purdue. I was also able to meet several fellow AAE students during my time in PSP.

Best event or organization you’ve participated in outside of AAE?
The best event I have participated in outside of AAE is Purdue intramural sports. It is an amazing way to spend time with friends doing a fun activity.

Why did you want to be an AAE Ambassador?
I wanted to be an AAE Ambassador because I want other people to know about the amazing school we have here, and the many topics that are taught within AAE.

Favorite place on campus?
My favorite place on campus is Mackey Arena. I am a huge basketball fan, and the energy brought to Purdue Basketball games is unbelievable.

Favorite class you’ve taken thus far and why?
My favorite class so far is AAE 251, Introduction to Aerospace Design. The class is my personal favorite because of the several different topics it covers, and the design project within it was a fascinating way to get an idea of how aircraft design works.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a potential AAE student?
I would tell a potential AAE student to get used to math! We use a lot of it in our classes. As well, they should use office hours for classes with long homework assignments.

Who is someone you look up to in the Aero/Astro industry and why?
Sirisha Bandla is someone I look up to in the Aerospace industry. I am impressed by her dedication to become an astronaut, as well as her ability to make her dream happen.

What motivates you to succeed?
My motivation to succeed stems from the idea that I want to make an impact on the world we live in. I hope to make people's lives easier, safer, and better.

What is your ultimate career goal?
My ultimate career goal is to be a lead engineer for a big project, so that I can use my leadership skills effectively.

What do you like to do when you’re not studying/in the lab or classroom?
Outside of schoolwork, I love watching and playing sports. I am a big fan of movies and television. I also enjoy spending time with friends. Currently, I am learning how to speak Polish.

Favorite Fun Fact about Purdue?
My favorite fun fact is that Purdue has the oldest university-owned airport in the United States.
