ENE59500
Credit Hours:
1The research is clear: intellectual communities are profoundly important for enduring learning and professional growth. Through research presentations on current topics in engineering education and related subjects, this seminar will build an intellectual community by forging connections within the College of Engineering, with colleagues who conduct engineering education research at Purdue, and with other engineering education researchers across the U.S. and abroad.
This seminar is structured so that there is opportunity for interactive engagement, disciplinary discourse, reflection, and application. Speakers may come from Purdue, from other universities, and from business, industry, and government. As a course, this seminar is required for doctoral students in Engineering (DEng) and PhD students in Engineering Education. Students may register repeatedly for multiple semesters.
