Professor Haiyan Wang will become the Turner Professor of Engineering, and her appointment will be split between the Schools of Materials Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering.  Prof. Wang's expertise is in electronic materials and covers processing and characterization of oxide- and nitride-based thin films.  The author of more than 330 journal papers (total citation over 8300, H-Factor 46), and a Fellow of ASM International, ACerS, and AAAS, she joins us from Texas A&M's Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.  Information on Prof. Wang's group research is at https://sites.google.com/site/haiyanwanggroup/home.
