Graduate Students Mehdi Salmani-Jelodar and Xufeng Wang receive Best in Session Awards at TECHCON 2013 Conference

The awards were in Device Simulation and Energy System and Sustainability. They are advised by Professors Mark Lundstrom, Peter Bermel, and Gerhard Klimeck.

ECE Graduate Students Mehdi Salmani-Jelodar and Xufeng Wang received the Best in Session Awards in "device simulation" and "energy system and sustainability" sessions respectively at the TECHCON 2013 Conference in Austin, Texas.

Mehdi is working in Professor Klimeck's group on predicting next International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductor (ITRS) for next 15 years. He presented a part of the group work entitled as "On the Scaling Issues and Solutions for Double Gate MOSFETs at the end of ITRS". He is advised by Professor Gerhard Klimeck.

Xufeng is working on the electro-optically coupled simulation in designing high performance solar cells. He is advised by Professor Mark Lundstrom and Professor Peter Bermel.
