Tencent  is one of the largest companies in China and hit a market cap of over $500 billion in 2017, ranked among the world’s top 10 most valuable IT companies. Our business specializes in a multitude of internet services including social network, gaming, entertainment, e-payment and AI research. We are now actively expanding our recruitment efforts outside of China and are keen to connect with schools  and student talents. 

We will be touring the U.S. at the end of October / early November to interview students, interviewing in Chicago  on Oct 30 to 31.  We want to reach out to advertise our full-time (permanent) and intern positions for students graduating in 2019 and 2020, respectively, spanning a wide range of job  families including AI research & engineer, game and product development, financial management and human resources, all based in China. That said, we are primarily targeting the engineering school, data science majors, and business school. For the game and product development jobs, students of all academic disciplines are welcome to apply. However, unfortunately due to visa restrictions and work authorization policies, we are primarily targeting Chinese students.

The early deadline for application is Oct 10, 2018, students are encouraged to apply by this date to be in time for online written assessments that give them better chance of landing an interview, but we are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until the university tour date (till early November). We have touch based with student organizations and so far received some applications from Purdue University but would like to get words spread to more people.  I have included a list of the positions that they have posted in MyCCO.
