ECE Academic Advising
Upon acceptance into the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering students are assigned a primary academic advisor for an individualized and consistent advising experience. Students are welcome to see any advisor for walk-in issues, but will complete registration and discuss any significant issues during appointments with their primary advisor. Should an urgent or critical issue arise, students are encouraged to contact the ECE Undergraduate Office or stop by during office hours.
Students who would like to make an appointment with an academic advisor may do so by calling 765-494-3390 or by coming to the ECE Undergraduate Office (EE 136). If a student arrives more than 5 minutes late to an appointment he/she may be asked to reschedule.
As our International Student Support Coordinator, Dr. Yuxiang Wang also takes appointments for international students who wish to discuss issues regarding transitioning to Purdue and ECE. Students who need help with academic issues (i.e. add/drop, registration, etc.) should see an academic advisor.
An ECE Academic Advisor will be available for walk-ins during the below times except when the office is closed during normal business hours or for occasional need. Please check the our office calendar before coming to the office. Walk-Ins are taken on a first-come-first-served basis and are for quick questions or issues.
