LHP Engineering Solutions  has a wonderful opportunity for a bilingual English/Japanese speaking engineer.  This is a direct position with our Software Solutions team (LSS), placed onsite at our customer Honda in Raymond, Ohio. Entry-level candidates will be greatly considered for this role. The main scope of this position is to support the development of functional safety related work products throughout the project lifecycle. We will train this engineer in functional safety and controls. This is a great opportunity for someone to add two sides of engineering to their resume.

Title: Safety Critical Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Support several managers with task related to functional safety.
• Responsible for supporting the development of functional safety related work products throughout the project lifecycle.
• Development and review of schedules with the team.
• Quality checks of processes implementation.
• Ensure coordination between multiple development teams.
• Develop resource plans and staffing plans.
• Ability to work in multi-cultural team environment.

Requirements:

BSEE (electrical engineering) or BSCE (computer engineering. this may show up also as Embedded Software or Systems)
MSEE or MSCE (CPT and OPT candidates who are completing or have completed their masters are acceptable)
