The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California at Santa Barbara is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the broad area of signal processing and communications, with an effective appointment date of July 1, 2016. We are particularly interested in applicants whose main focus is in signal processing systems with broader interests and ability to collaborate with faculty across disciplines.

Candidates should have an established research reputation or outstanding research potential, the ability to attract external research funding, and a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
