Civil Engineering is very fortunate to have Paul Giroux offer a two-credit CE 597 (CRN 26450) class this spring semester.  The class is entitled "Great Projects: Essential Lessons from the Great Builders." Attached is a flier for additional details.
 
Paul brings a wealth of industry experience in mega projects from his 40+ years at Kiewit Corporation. Paul is the author of several bridge design and civil engineering history papers and has provided over 400 lectures and seminars at nearly 90 engineering schools throughout the United States, and other professional, public, and international venues.  His talks have been on topics such as "Building Brooklyn Bridge", "Building Hoover Dam", "Building Golden Gate Bridge", Building Panama Canal", "Building Grand Coulee Dam", "Building Eads Bridge", Building the Transcontinental Railroad", "Building Mackinac Bridge" and "Great Builders."
