Seeking applicants for unique research position starting May 2021
 
We seek a research assistant for a unique dual role, performing software development in a start-up organization while also conducting social science research. 
 
The individual selected for this position is expected to make technical contributions in one or more of the following roles: fullstack software engineer (including proficiency with Git, Javascript, database technologies, and UI/UX design), mobile iOS engineer, mobile Android engineer, QA engineer, process engineer. Competitive candidates should also have an interest in learning about and using qualitative social science research methods (e.g., interviewing, ethnographic observation, etc.). Upper-division undergraduate students (juniors or seniors) and graduate students (MS or PhD) in engineering, technology, and computer science are especially encouraged to apply.
 
This role requires a work commitment of at least 20 hours/week. For graduate students, all regular assistantship benefits (tuition remission, etc.) are included. Employment can begin as early as May, and the appointment will run through at least the end of 2021.
