CLASS OF 2016
I have been working in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry since graduation. My current job is the Associate Director of Medical Device Development Quality at Eli Lilly and Company. There I am responsible to ensure that our devices and combination products are developed in a way that ensures patient safety and can create an effective medical experience for our patients.
My experience at BME provided me with critical thinking skills that I use daily. I have to strategize with engineering teams to solve problems and get projects through regulatory approvals and ultimately to market.

Never stop learning. There are many regulations in the medical device or pharma industry, and it is important to understand what regulations apply to your area of work.
I have served as an industry representative in several quality and regulatory graduate courses in the BME program. I also follow and make it to as many Purdue sporting events as possible.
