Why I chose Purdue?
I chose Purdue specifically for the Biomedical Engineering route. I hope to become a doctor eventually, but I also have a great appreciation for the engineering method. The way that I knew I could get both was through BME, and so after searching for a very long time, I decided upon the Purdue BME program because it was ranked s highly and very convenient for me as well.

Why I chose Engineering and BME?
Ever since I was young, I have wanted to be a doctor. Both of my parents have jobs in the medical field, so that may have something to do with it. However, in high school, I joined my school’s robotics team and found that engineering was extremely fun as well! This affected my life so much that I began to think of how I might be able to find a program that could incorporate both of them. The Purdue Biomedical Engineering program was exactly what I was looking for, giving me the options to really decide what it is that I want to do with my life and get the best of both worlds.
