Jerome Mertz, PhD, Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Boston University will present “Fast Volumetric Imaging in Brain Tissue” on Wednesday, March 20, at 9:30 a.m. in MRGN 121 and via Zoom.

Suresh K. Mittal, DVM, PhD, Distinguished Professor of Virology, Purdue, will present "Development of Universal Influenza Vaccine and its Implication of Pandemic" on Thursday, March 7 at 12:30 p.m. in LYNN 1136.

Seminars in Hearing Research will host Pasquale Bottalico, Associate Professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on Thursday, March 7 at 12:00 p.m. in Nelson Hall, Room 1215. His presentation is entitled "Classroom acoustics for enhancing students' understanding when a teacher suffers from a dysphonic voice."

Karen Willcox, Director of the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences, Associate Vice President for Research, External Professor at the Santa Fe Institute, and Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Texas at Austin will present "From reduced-order modeling to scientific machine learning: How computational sciences is enabling the design of next-generation engineering systems" on Wednesday, March 6, at 2:00 p.m. in the ARMS Atrium.

Melissa Lambeth Kemp, PhD, Carol Ann & David D. Flanagan Professor of Biomedical Engineering, Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering, Georgia Tech and Emory University will present “Redox systems biology: Computational strategies for predicting cancer therapeutic responses” on Wednesday, March 6th at 9:30 a.m. in MJIS 1001 (NOTE LOCATION CHANGE) and via Zoom.

John Oshinski, Professor of Radiology & Imaging Sciences and Biomedical Engineering, Emory University/Georgia Tech will present “Measuring Neural Dynamics with MRI” on Wednesday, February 28 at 9:30 a.m. in MRGN 121 and via Zoom.
