Engaging communities to advance healthcare through human-centered design

Human-centered design (HCD) is a comprehensive approach to problem solving that focuses on the specific needs and wants of people from the beginning to the end of the design process. BME’s Natalia Rodriguez discusses how HCD is a way to meaningfully engage end users to generate innovative solutions to a particular challenge.

4 Engineering faculty, including 2 from BME, named Fulbright Scholars

Teaching agricultural and food engineering, advancing STEM learning, studying cardiac remodeling, and improving Alzheimer's disease treatments are some of the research projects of four Purdue Engineering faculty who have been named U.S. Fulbright Faculty Scholars.

2021 Spring Doctoral Candidate Commencement

The Graduate School held its PhD ceremony at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 16 at Edward C. Elliott Hall of Music for 198 doctoral candidates, of which 119 were expected to be from the College of Engineering. Purdue Provost Jay Akridge spoke at that ceremony.
