We invite you to join us to recognize Professor George Wodicka's leadership of and service to the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. Professor Wodicka served as the School's founding Head since its formation in 1998 and the inaugural Dane A. Miller Head of Biomedical Engineering since 2016. During his more than two decades of leadership, the School underwent tremendous programmatic and facilities growth spurred by an outstanding faculty, staff, and student base. He continues to serve Purdue as the Vincent P. Reilly Professor of Biomedical Engineering with an emphasis on translational research in pediatric medical devices.

The celebration weekend will begin with a reception honoring Professor Wodicka at 3:00 pm (EDT) on Friday, September 9. We're excited to also host the 2nd annual Art in Research Exhibition during this time, showcasing cutting-edge illustrations in biomedical research.
