2021 Spring Doctoral Candidate Commencement

The Graduate School held its PhD ceremony at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 16 at Edward C. Elliott Hall of Music for 198 doctoral candidates, of which 119 were expected to be from the College of Engineering. Purdue Provost Jay Akridge spoke at that ceremony.

Purdue University’s Board of Trustees on Friday (April 9) approved several Biomedical Engineering faculty promotions. The following promotions are effective with the 2021-22 academic year, effective Aug. 16, 2021, and also include Distinguished and Named Faculty approved by the board in November 2020.

Purdue Engineering graduate program ranked #4 in U.S.

Purdue University’s College of Engineering is not only among the largest but also among the very best in the country – rising even higher in national rankings. In recent years its graduate and research program ranking has been rising from No. 9 to 8 to 7.
