Thomas M. Talavage, a professor of biomedical engineering and electrical and computer engineering, has been selected to be part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Concussion Task Force.
Weldon students won the undergraduate division at the Purdue University Elevator Pitch Competition on April 5. Their concept, called Safe Pace, is a device that would help surgeons check a pacemaker implant during surgery to determine whether it was mechanically stable.
