Bashir and Talavage Promoted

The Purdue Board of Trustees approved faculty promotions at their April 8th meeting.

Rashid Bashir was promoted to Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering. His research interests include nanobiotechnology; biological microelectromechnical systems (BioMEMS); novel micro/nanoscale biosensors; and advanced semiconductor techniques.

Tom Talavage was promoted to Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Electrical & Computer Engineering. His research interests include functional neuroimaging; biomedical image and signal processing; audition; speech; language comprehension; and neural prostheses.
