Major NIH Grant Awarded to Professor Voytik-Harbin

Professor Sherry Voytik-Harbin's research proposal on "Cell-ECM Interactions: A 3D Micro-Mechanical Perspective" was selected by the National Institutes of Health for funding. The 4-year, million-dollar plus award will support Professor Voytik-Harbin's research in collaboration with Professors Klod Kokinin and J. Paul Robinson.

Professor Voytik-Harbin's research interests include tissue engineering/biomaterials and cell-extracellular matrix biomechanics. She is currently an assistant professor of biomedical engineering and basic medical sciences.
