Professor Voytik-Harbin Receives Grant from American Heart Association

Professor Sherry Voytik-Harbin was recently notified that her research on multi-dimensional, biomechanical analysis of cell-ECM interactions for engineering functional blood vessel constructs will be funded by the Midwest Affiliate of the American Heart Association. Professor Voytik-Harbin will be joined on the research project by collaborators Klod Kokini and J. Paul Robinson.

Voytik-Harbin joined the BME faculty in 2003, and has a joint appointment in Basic Medical Sciences at Purdue. Her research program in tissue engineering spans both the Schools of Engineering and Veterinary Medicine at Purdue as well as the Indiana University School of Medicine.
