Congratulations to Dr. Chao Shen for successfully defending her Ph.D thesis! While at Purdue, under the advisement of Prof. Zhang, Chao worked on investigating the toughening mechanisms of ceramic materials via advanced processing techniques and mechanical tests. Dr. Shen will be joining ASM in Arizona after graduation.
