Congratulations to Jessica Lavorata who, under the advisement of Professor Jan-Anders Mansson, has successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Novel High-Rate Manufacturing Process for Multifunctional Thermoplastic Composites.” Her research investigated the manufacturing and performance of M-TOW, a novel thermoplastic composite used as 3D structural reinforcement in injection-molded parts, with emphasis on integrating functional components for sensing, thermal conductivity, and electrical conductivity.
