Congratulations to Jack Lopez for successfully completing his thesis MS! Advised by Professors Xinghang Zhang and Haiyan Wang, his research focused on the precipitation of carbide phases during laser powder bed fusion additive manufacturing of cobalt alloys, and the tailoring of carbide-strengthened microstructures and mechanical properties through heat treatment. Jack has accepted a position with autonomous additive manufacturing company, Freeform.
