PhD candidate, Hongyi Dou has successfully completed his PhD under the guidance of Professor Haiyan Wang! His research focused on novel nanostructured oxides for memristor device applications. In particular, he developed a unique grain boundary structure in functional oxides, and a novel vertically aligned nanocomposite design in a multilayered stack for guided filament formation and well controlled resistive switching properties in oxide thin films. He joined Westin Digital in CA upon graduation.
