Chelsea Davis, Assistant Professor of Materials Engineering

Congratulations to MSE assistant professor, Dr. Chelsea Davis, for receiving the NSF CAREER Grant from the National Science Foundation. This prestigious award supports early-career faculty who have the potential to serve as academic role models in research and education. Dr. Davis will develop techniques to use mechanophores, materials that respond to mechanical stimuli by changing color, to visualize the mechanical performance at interfaces in soft polymeric materials.
