Purdue University will hold a Day of Healing Friday (Jan. 31) in the wake of the Jan. 21 shooting death of student Andrew F. Boldt.

Please see the information from Sara Carvell concerning travel to Andrew Boldt’s visitation and funeral next Tuesday. As these arrangements are being made by the Office of the Dean of Students. Please note that the deadline to register for travel is Monday, 5pm.

Arrangements are set for Tuesday, Jan. 28 at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Boldt’s hometown of West Bend, Wis. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. CT. A funeral mass will be held at 7 p.m.

In addition to providing counseling services for students, Purdue is reaching out to faculty and staff and to offer campus resources for counseling in the wake of the shooting death on campus Jan. 21.

The majority of the Electrical Engineering Building will reopen for standard operating hours beginning at noon Wednesday (Jan.
22).

Faculty, staff and students may return to any offices, labs or classrooms on the facility's main floor and above.
