Purdue ECE honors five staff members with 2025 Staff Awards of Excellence

The Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University recognized five outstanding staff members during its annual ECE Staff Recognition Luncheon, celebrating individuals whose dedication, professionalism and service help make the school thrive.

The Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University recognized five outstanding staff members during its annual ECE Staff Recognition Luncheon, celebrating individuals whose dedication, professionalism and service help make the school thrive.

The Staff Awards of Excellence are designed to recognize, encourage and promote exceptional staff contributions across the school. Award recipients receive a plaque and a $2,000 monetary award

Three ECE Staff Awards of Excellence were presented to individuals who demonstrated sustained excellence in job performance, creative problem-solving, strong cooperation and a willingness to take on new skills and responsibilities.

Haitham Kanakri 

Haitham Kanakri received an ECE Staff Award of Excellence for his dedication to undergraduate education and curriculum development, which has significantly elevated the learning experience for ECE undergraduate students in Indianapolis.

Holly Mueller

Holly Mueller was honored with an ECE Staff Award of Excellence for her strong and positive impact on the procedures, goals and culture of the ECE undergraduate office, as well as her outstanding contributions to the Purdue Academic Advisor Association and the Indiana Academic Advising Association.

Jessica Tucker

Jessica Tucker received an ECE Staff Award of Excellence for her customer-focused approach and her ability to serve both students and faculty members with efficiency, professionalism and grace.

Two ECE Customer Service Awards were also presented, recognizing staff members who consistently establish positive working relationships and demonstrate excellence in service, communication and problem-solving.

Lori Carte

Lori J. Carte received an ECE Customer Service Award for her consistent dedication, efficiency and professionalism, which exemplify the highest standards of staff performance.
