- Learned the aspects of Revit and AutoCAD electrical design
- Rearranged and responsible for printing Revit and AutoCAD sheets
- Went to site visits to inspect the exterior electrical design
- Plotted sheets and moved them to specific folder directories
Why did you want to do this co-op/What do you hope to gain from the experience? I wanted to do this co-op because I wanted to gain experience in electrical design, which is a discipline that interested me apart from the field of semiconductors. I would like to know the various features within Revit and AutoCAD that would enable me to complete various electrical drawings.
What are your ultimate career goals? My ultimate career goals are to learn the aspects of electrical design, which includes asking mentors about why things are done the way that they are done. In the Revit and AutoCAD applications I would also like to go on site visits and see my electrical design implemented into the buildings. I believe that if I consistently learn the design features of Revit and AutoCAD daily, I will eventually be able to advance to become a senior electrical design engineer for the company.
