“It’s an exciting time to join ECE and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to support all the great things happening in the Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering,” said David.

David is a graduate of Illinois State University. He lives in Lafayette with his wife, Jessica, and four children Trey, Audrey, Mia, and Olivia. Outside of the office, he enjoys golfing, traveling with his wife, playing catch with Trey, and participating in all the tea parties with his daughters.

Carey received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Duke University where she was a student-athlete on the women’s soccer team. She went on to receive her MBA and master’s in Sports Administration from Ohio University. Carey’s professional career began at the College of William & Mary where she led fundraising efforts for women’s athletics initiatives. She joined Tulane University as a director of major gifts, helping to launch a giving society. Most recently, Carey spent the last four years as director of development for the Kelley School of Business in Indianapolis.

“I am so excited to join the Purdue for Life team to help build upon the fast-paced innovation that is stretching across the state and the country,” said Carey. “I look forward to bringing my passion for student success to the team and learning about the wonderful ways alumni, donors, and friends can make transformational impact on campus and beyond.”

Carey lives in Indianapolis and enjoys spending time with her golden doodle, Ellie, hiking, gardening, and seeking out new coffee shops and breweries to try

Brady Knoy, Director of Development

Brady received his bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue. As a student, he was a practice player for the women’s basketball team and was actively coaching in the area. Brady has worked for a local company, MBAH Insurance (now EPIC Insurance Midwest) as a Commercial Insurance Producer for the last seven years. This role allowed him to network with local companies and form great relationships in our community.

“I am thrilled and honored to be joining this great team,” said Brady. “With a competitive drive to build strong, long-lasting relationships, I look forward to doing great work with PFL and assisting Purdue University to its next giant leap. Boiler Up and Hammer Down!”

Brady lives in Lafayette with his wife, Whitney, and two daughters, Noel (2) and Tinley (newborn). His family is filled with Boilermakers, including our own Brian Knoy (Brady’s uncle), and enjoys any chance to be on campus.
