ECE graduate student wins Cadence Women in Tech Scholarship
ECE graduate student Miaomiao Ma has been awarded a Cadence Women in Tech Scholarship. Winners must demonstrate a strong academic record, exemplify leadership, and demonstrate a passion for technology.
Ma is a student of Prof. Dan Jiao. The Cadence Scholarship team cited Ma’s academic achievements and drive to shape the future of technology as qualities that set her apart from other scholarship candidates.
Cadence is a leading electronic design automation (EDA) company that provides the expertise and tools, IP, and hardware required for the entire electronics design chain, from chip design to chip packaging to boards and to systems. The company created the scholarships as part of their strategy to increase and support diversity in tech fields.
