ECE grad student wins IEEE Region 4 Outstanding Student Award

ECE graduate student Michael Hayashi has won the IEEE Region 4 Outstanding Student Award. He is pursuing his PhD in Prof. Dan Jiao's group.

ECE graduate student Michael Hayashi has won the IEEE Region 4 Outstanding Student Award. The award recognizes one student who has exhibited exceptional performance both as a student and as a young professional through his or her contributions to IEEE, their university, and membership in Region 4. Recognition is given to a student who has demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities, admirable ethical behavior, and strong commitment to professionalism both inside the classroom and within their community.

Hayashi will be recognized in an IEEE Region 4 meeting held on January 25-27 in Tempe, Arizona. He is pursuing his PhD in Prof. Dan Jiao’s group.
