ECE students win best paper award at WAMICON 2018

Purdue ECE graduate students Mohamed Hagag and Mahmoud Abdelfattah won the best conference paper award at the 19th annual IEEE Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON 2018). The paper title was: "Balanced Octave-Tunable Absorptive Bandstop Filter."

Purdue ECE graduate students Mohamed Hagag and  Mahmoud Abdelfattah won the best conference paper award at the 19th annual IEEE Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON 2018). The paper title was: “Balanced Octave-Tunable Absorptive Bandstop Filter.”
 
WAMICON 2018 addressed up-to-date multidisciplinary research needs and interdisciplinary aspects of wireless and RF technology. The central theme of the conference was "mm-Waves and Internet of Things (IoT) for Commercial and Defense."
