US News & World Report announces 2018 undergrad program rankings

In the U.S. News & World Report survey “Best Colleges 2018,” Purdue’s College of Engineering ranked 8th nationally among doctoral-granting universities. Electrical Engineering came in at #8, while Computer Engineering was #12.

The US News & World Report has released its national rankings of undergraduate programs, “Best Colleges 2018.” The rankings are computed from the responses to a survey sent to deans, heads, and selected senior faculty who rated programs on a 1-5 scale from marginal to distinguished. Based on these responses, EE’s ranking remains at #8, while CmpE  is ranked #12, compared to #11 last year

In the U.S. News & World Report survey “Best Colleges 2018,” released in September 2017, Purdue’s College of Engineering ranked 8th nationally among doctoral-granting universities. Undergraduate program rankings are based on ratings by deans and senior faculty in those disciplines at peer institutions.

*Environmental and Ecological engineering program was not ranked by USN&WR this year. 2017 is the most recent year in which Environmental and Ecological engineering program was ranked by USN&WR.
