Professor Amy Reibman elected chair of IEEE Fellow Committee for 2016
Amy Reibman, professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been appointed to chair the IEEE Fellow Committee in 2016. The IEEE Fellow Committee is responsible for making recommendations to the IEEE Board of Directors for nominees to be conferred the grade of Fellow. IEEE Fellow is the highest grade of membership and is recognized by the technical community as a prestigious honor and an important career achievement. It is conferred upon a person with an outstanding record of accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest. The total number selected in any one year cannot exceed one-tenth of one-percent of the total voting membership.
