Professor Jan Allebach receives 2013 IEEE Daniel E. Noble Award for Emerging Technologies
The award was for Professor Allebach's development of the Tone-Dependent Error Diffusion algorithm used widely in inkjet and laser printers.
Professor Jan Allebach has been named recipient of the 2013 IEEE Daniel E. Noble Award for Emerging Technologies for outstanding contributions to emerging technologies recognized within recent years with the following citation: "For the development of the Tone-Dependent Error Diffusion algorithm used widely in inkjet and laser printers."
