ISLPED (International Symposium on Low Power Electronics and Design) is the premier conference focused on power consumption and energy efficiency in integrated circuits, electronics, and computing. The paper is titled "TapeCache: A High Density, Energy Efficient Cache Based on Domain Wall Memory".

A paper co-authored by ECE graduate students Rangharajan Venkatesan and Vivek Joy Kozhikkottu, and ECE Professors Kaushik Roy and Anand Raghunathan, won the best paper award at the 2012 ACM/IEEE International Symposium on Low Power Electronics and Design (ISLPED). The paper was also co-authored by ECE graduate alumni Charles Augustine and Arijit Raychowdhury, who are currently with Intel Corporation.

ISLPED is the premier conference focused on power consumption and energy efficiency in integrated circuits, electronics, and computing. The paper titled "TapeCache: A High Density, Energy Efficient Cache Based on Domain Wall Memory" explored how to design the memory hierarchy of computing systems using an emerging memory technology called domain-wall memory.
