Professors Edward Delp and William Chappell receive U.S. Army Research Laboratory Director's Coin
The award is in recognition for their contributions made to ARL. It is extremely rare for a commanding officer or installation director to present this symbol of praise to a private citizen.
Professor Edward Delp and Professor William Chappell have been informed that Mr. John M. Miller, Director of the US Army Research Laboratory, has presented them with the ARL Director's Coin as recognition for contributions made to ARL through their work on the project entitled “Standoff Inverse Analysis and Manipulation of Electronic Systems (SIAMES)” that was funded under the FY05 Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative (MURI).
