Professor Saurabh Bagchi will be the Program Committee chair for the 41st Annual IEEE/IFIP International Conference on Dependable Systems and Networks (DSN) to be held in  June 2011. DSN is the premier conference on dependability and attracts about 250-300 submissions with an acceptance rate of 20-25%. DSN has pioneered the fusion between security and dependability, addressing the need to simultaneously fight against cyber attacks, accidental faults, design errors, and unexpected operating conditions. This conference has been held annually since 1971 (the original conference name is IEEE International Symposium on Fault Tolerant Computing). It attracts about 300 attendees from academia and industry.
