Graduate student Wenwen Chai receives IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Doctoral Research Award

Wenwen was given the award based on her project proposal, recommendations, academic record, and potential to contribute to the electromagnetics profession in the future. The award includes a $2500 fellowship. She is advised by Professor Dan Jiao.

Graduate student Wenwen Chai has received the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Doctoral Research Award for 2009-2010.

The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) grants up to ten PhD Research Awards each year. The selection committee evaluated each applicant based on his or her project proposal, advisor's recommendation letter, academic record, and potential to contribute to the electromagnetics profession in the future. The award will be announced in IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, and consists of a $2500 fellowship.

Wenwen is advised by Professor Dan Jiao. Student Houle Gan from Professor Jiao's research group received the same award for the 2008-09 cycle.
