ECE students win third prize in Altera Design Contest

Students Georgios Karakonstantis, Vaibhav Gupta, and Himanshu Markandeya have won third prize in the Altera Innovate Design Contest. They developed an energy efficient camera on a chip.
Students Georgios Karakonstantis, Vaibhav Gupta, and Himanshu Markandeya have won third prize in the Altera Innovate Design Contest.
The team developed an energy efficient camera on a chip able to adjust on power and quality requirements as demonstrated on a DE-2 FPGA board. Mentors of the team were Professor Anand Raghunanthan and Professor Kaushik Roy.
