This year the Academic Success Center is piloting a new workshop, Test Drive: The Elliott Exam Experience. The goal of this workshop is to provide students with an opportunity to take a timed, mock exam so that they can effectively evaluate their content knowledge and experience the large, evening exam setting.  For the pilot, we are focusing this opportunity for students enrolled in the following math courses:  MA 15800, MA 16100, MA 16200, MA 16500, MA 16600, and MA 26100.

Test Drive will be held next Monday, Sept. 11 in Elliott Hall.  Doors will open for check-in at 7:30 pm with the mock exam being held from 8:00-9:00 pm.  Registration is required and spaces are limited to the first 1,000 students to sign up. After completing the exam, students will have the opportunity to sign up for a consultation to debrief and discuss strategies for studying and test-taking. Results of the practice exam, including a “grade” and specific questions missed, will be provided to students within a few days of the event so they can continue with their study plan or make adjustments as needed.
