Degrees Offered by the
School of Electrical and Computer Engineering
The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers two Bachelors degrees - a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCmpE). Specific requirements are dependent upon the student's catalog term, i.e., the term in which the student was admitted to Purdue University. However, the following apply to all BSEE and BSCmpE degree requirements regardless of catalog term.
- An overall GPA of at least 2.000 in courses that apply to the ECE major area requirements must be attained.
- At least 32 credits of upper level ECE courses that apply to the ECE major area requirements must be taken at the Purdue West Lafayette campus.
