Undergraduate Scholarships

Electrical and Computer Engineering has one of the largest scholarship pools on campus. Most of the scholarships are merit-based, taking into account not only your academic performance, but also involvement in extracurricular activities, leadership positions, and community service.  We encourage all eligible students to complete the online application as we use the information on your application throughout the entire year to award scholarships as well as to determine Honorary Memberships, Honors, and Awards.

Eligibility: To be eligible for Electrical and Computer Engineering scholarships or other scholarships financially supported by ECE funds, you must 1) be a Purdue University student in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering or a First Year Engineering student who has indicated your intent to enter ECE and will have completed all the FYE requirements by the end of the Spring 2014 semester;  2) be in Good Academic Standing (not on academic probation);  3) be enrolled in classes for the Fall 2014 and/or Spring 2015 semester.

Application:  the online application is available from January 3, 2014 - February 28, 2014 at the following link: 2014-2015 Scholarship Application

IMPORTANT! You may work on the application over multiple visits simply by closing out of the application window and returning at a later time; however, your application is not complete until you "Submit Application" at the final step. Once you have submitted the application, you cannot return to make additions or corrections, so be certain you have included all pertinent information before answering that final question.

Students currently in First Year Engineering who plan to complete all FYE requirements during the Spring semester and join the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Fall semester will have their own deadline for submission of the application and should have received an email with additional information.
