I am reaching out to you to inform you about a Full Time job opening in my team at Tesla in the role of Test Development Engineer. I am looking for candidates who have recently graduated or will graduate soon with a degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics. It is an entry level opening.
The Engineer will be part of our Electronics Test and Automation Group, where they will design, develop, and deploy automated testing equipment for our vehicle electronics and silicon development. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in electronics, software, and controls, as well as excellent communication skills.
Some of the key skills and qualifications we are looking for in a candidate include:
- Experience with signals and HW integration.
- Familiarity with common protocols (JTAG, SWD, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, I2C, Ethernet, etc.)
- Python skills are a must.
- Experience with understanding digital and analog circuits design and validation.
- Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting/automation.
