Continuing to a PhD

Purdue MSECE and MSSWE students who are interested in continuing to a PhD must be admitted to the ECE PhD program. Interested students should submit an online OGSPS application by the respective application deadlines. 

Admission requirements:

1. Minimum graduate GPA of 3.3 with the typical successful applicant having a 3.6 or higher GPA.
2. Faculty supervisor for the PhD
3. Funding for PhD - typically through a research assistant position.
